Global Natural History Day 2017

Our Chemistry Research Team (Hui Cheuk Yin Edmond 4A and Cheng Mo Shun 4A), Chinese Medicine Research Team (Pan Xi Yue 4A and Choi Man 4A) and Biology Research Teams (5S1 Chan Mun Kwan Jenna 5S1 and Li Chelsea 5S1, Patel Aayushi Prashant 4IB and Shrestha Shagun 4IB) have entered the Global Natural History Day 2017 Hong Kong final at Hong Kong Science Museum on 20th May.

This year, our Biology Research Team investigated the effect of cooking temperature on bacterial growth on pork and relationship between vitamin C content and size of tomatoes. Our Chemistry Research Team investigated the effect of size of tea leaves and lemon slices on the level of antioxidant in tea and lemon tea, and our Chinese Medicine Research Team carried out a study on astragalosides in astragalus tea.

All our teams have succeeded in entering the global finals which will be held in July at Chongqing, China. Our Chinese Medicine Research Team (Pan Xi Yue 4A and Choi Man 4A) and Biology Research Team (5S1 Chan Mun Kwan Jenna 5S1 and Li Chelsea 5S1) have won the Champion and 2nd runner up respectively.
