The 8th Arts Ambassadors-in-School cum Outstanding Arts Teachers Recognition Ceremony

Posted on:2016/08/15

The Arts Ambassadors-in-School Scheme was first launched by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council in 2008. The Scheme recognizes students with a flair for art, and encourages them to contribute their artistic talents to the community. This year, 675 schools joined this scheme. Over 1,300 students were nominated to be arts ambassadors who made a pledge to show their commitment to the arts and to share the joy of arts with others.

In the Ceremony, more than 280 arts teachers were also recognized as “Outstanding Arts Teachers” for their devotion to promoting arts education and guiding students to participate in different arts activities. Art teacher must get the nomination by school principal before they get this honor.

Nominated by the Principal, our Visual Arts teacher Ms Ha Yee Man Evan and Bernice Lee of Class5S2 were recognized “Outstanding Arts Teacher” and “Arts Ambassadors-in-School” respectively. Congratulations to Ms Ha and Bernice on their artistic excellence.
