Australian Science Innovations 2014 Big Science Competition In May 2014, selected F.1, F.2 and F.4 students were nominated to join an international science competition called Big Science Competition in which Nganpolingians competed with 50,000 participants from all over the world. We are delighted that some of them achieved very encouraging results.

Shireen Rashed of 4S1, Michael Leung of 2E, Ian Ching of 1D and Marco Ng of 1C achieved high distinction. They were among the top 5% of the 50,000 candidates.

At the same time, Aaron Kau of 1C, Thomas Ng of 1D and Henry Leung of 1B got distinction. They were among the top 15% of all participants.

On the whole, our students all expressed that the competition is interesting and challenging as the tasks involved demand extensive science knowledge, research skills and inquiry mind. They really look forward to joining more external competitions in the near future. Once again, congratulations to all the awardees.
