Posted on:2013/05/24

Our chemistry research team entered the Hong Kong Students Science Project Competition 2013 at Hong Kong Science Park on 11th of May. There were more than 200 teams of participants coming from different secondary schools in Hong Kong joining the competition. Using the research titled “Synthesis of anti-bacterial spray by chitin from shrimp and crab shells”, our team obtained the most popular scientific research award. The team members are Jerry Cheung, Chris Lo, Cissy Chen and Brian Koo from Class 5S1. Congratulations to all of them as well as all science teachers of NPL College on their effort and achievements made in the event.

Our research team was invited to join the 15th Asian Chemical Congress to be held in Singapore in mid-August. We hope they can bring back inspiring ideas in scientific research to all of us.
