The first idea that comes to my mind is very symbolic that I think all the figures in my picture should symbolize some meanings. As you can see that there is an Earth which is reaching out"hands" to give you a heart. There is also a halo and a pair of wings on the Earth with the background filled with puzzles. I have never considered that whether they sensibly exist in the same space and time. What I concern most is that whether the symbols are addressing to the same question and expressing the same idea. A coherent and creative picture can be visualized if the above two requirements are fulfilled.
First of all, I made focus on the Earth. I used the Earth to symbolize all people as a whole. The hands symbolize the giving of courage and help, while the heart symbolizes care, warmth and love. The whole idea is that all people on the Earth are going to give care, warmth, love and concern to the orphans whose parents are infected by AIDS.
Then I would like to talk about the wings and the halo. I think you can guess what the meanings are. They simply symbolize an angel that can bring the orphans a peaceful life.
Finally, the background symbolizes the uniting of nation. Each piece of puzzles represents an individual. They fit into anther, just like uniting different nations to form a harmonious picture.
To conclude, I wish that the viewers can be touched and give a hand to the orphans. For the orphans, I sincerely hope that they can feel the love and concern of the people around, and no longer feel lonely and helpless.
